Our Story
The joy of not knowing your baby's gender cannot be matched. Baby Riddle was founded by a registered nurse and her husband who experienced that joy firsthand with each of their own babies — and who also knew that feeling unprepared is no fun at all.
As a nurse who had spoken with hundreds of expecting patients, our founder kept hearing the same thing: parents who wanted to keep the gender a surprise still wanted to have beautiful, colorful, gender-specific clothing ready the moment their baby arrived. That one recurring wish became the seed of Baby Riddle — a way to be completely prepared and completely surprised, all at once.

Over the years, Baby Riddle has grown into a full boutique baby and kids clothing destination trusted by families across the United States. Baby Riddle was created in 2011. Our beautiful family sat on the couch one morning when our girls were little and started to dream together.
This business has been a blessing for so many years to us. We are so thankful to serve and bring smiles to your faces!
Our Story The joy of not knowing your baby’s gender cannot be matched! My husband and I founded this business driven by the love of the surprise that each of our baby’s gender brought, but neither of us liked the feeling of being unprepared. With Baby Riddle, you can be prepared and surprised together!
As a former registered nurse and a proprietor, I have visited with many patients who wanted to keep the baby’s sex a surprise but also wanted some cute and colorful baby clothes to accompany that amazing discovery.
One thought became our service:
“How can we take away that unprepared feeling?”
No more neutrals! You have to admit a little girl looks so adorable in pinks and lavenders. A little boy looks so sporty with a baseball on his gown, or in sweet baby blue.
The Solution With some brainstorming, we came up with Baby Riddle. We found a solution to bypass the neutrals or having to buy duplicates and then return the items. Returning items is the last thing a new parent wants to do, and it rarely gets done. Have a tasteful third party send the gender specific clothes to you BEFORE the baby arrives. Baby Riddle was born.
